Filmed in 1975, this movie is about a cross-country race where contestants must run people over to score points. However, the race was infiltrated by a group set on ending the races for good. The main character Frankenstein (David Carradine) is the favorite. The race is broadcast live. Obsessed fans find it a privilege to get run over by the racers. The point system was as follows, teens 40 points, children 12 and under 70 points, race officials are 50 points, and people over 75 get 100 points. There was a spin off video game released the next year but, was pulled due to complaints. Machine Gun Joe Viterbo (Sylvester Stallone) was a memorable character.
